Ballet has technique which can be seen to be the basis for almost all dance. Whether dancing for enjoyment or with a more serious mind-set Ballet has something for everyone. Dating back to the 17th century Ballet is still arguably the most graceful form of dance.

Uniform
All uniform must be adhered to in classes and items of uniform may be ordered through the dance school. If you are unsure about any of these items of uniform then please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Nursery – Primary:
Lilac Leotard with matching skirt, ballet socks or ballet tights, leather or satin ballet shoes
Grade 1 – Grade 2:
Lavender Leotard, Charcter Skirt and Character Shoes
Grade 3 – Grade 8:
Mulberry Leotard with elastic Mulberry Belt, Ballet tights, satin shoes with ribbons (essential for exam) or standard ballet shoes for class work, Character skirt and character shoes.
Majors:
Navy Blue Leotard with matching belt and Navy Blue Cross-over skirt, ballet tights. Foundation Intermediate:
Satin ballet shoes with ribbons and pointe shoes.
Intermediate – Advanced 2:
Pointe and Demi Pointe shoes with ribbons
For all grades:
Hair in a bun or off your face.
